They say records are there to be broken!
Our athletes have embraced this over the years, regularly setting new standards for those who follow to create a little bit of history for themselves.
In 2023 60 club records were set – the third year in a row more than 50 new records have been established.
Club records for all club Track & Field records are available by age group and for boys, girls, senior men and senior women.

Tell us about a new record
The primary criteria for a new record to be considered is that an athlete must be either a first or second claim member of NSAC, and with a paid-up membership.
Where you are a second club claimant and compete in a league representing your first claim club, the result will be deemed to be a new NSAC record.
Events where a new record will be considered include:
* Track & Field Leagues where an athlete is representing the club
* Championships: county, regional and national competitions
* Inter-area meeting: where an athlete represents their county and/or region
* International meetings: where an athlete represents their home country
* Open meetings
* English School championships
* Road races run over consistent courses from year-to-year
Events where a new record will not be considered include:
* School events and sports day where the results are not recorded on the Power of 10
* Training sessions
* Unofficial runs, such as the WSM Prom Runs
* Cross-country events
* Parkruns
* All sprints, hurdles and horizontal jump events where the windspeed exceed 2m/sec, in accordance with England Athletics rules
