Fun Days are held regularly throughout the year during school holidays and half terms.
Designed by Head Coach Chris Millard, each week offers budding athletes a complete athletics experience in an environment that is fun and rewarding.

Fun Days are held at the club’s purpose-built athletics facility and within sports halls – when the weather dictates – at Clevedon School between 10am and 4pm, with a lunch break. There are a maximum of 24 attendees per session and a minimum 1:8 ratio between the coaching team and athletes.
Suitable for children aged 8-12 of all abilities and who thrive in a positive environment, the cost is £20 per day for NSAC members and £22 per day for non-members.
Fun Days are most definitely not for those looking for a creche or baby-sitting service!!

Important Bits
Your children will return home with energy reserves depleted having been kept fully active and engaged throughout the six hour daily programme – and with a better understanding of athletics and a desire to improve performances.
Each day has a separate theme which introduces attendees to all aspects of athletics, from sprinting and hurdling to high jump, long jump and throwing events – with some fun games to spice things up and opportunities to work as a team.
Mondays
Learning and measuring performance across a multitude of athletics events with participants acquiring a score, just like a heptathlon or decathlon. Every child receives a certificate to commemorate their achievements!
Tuesdays & Thursdays are all about teams
After learning about a series of athletic events, children are divided into teams and compete against each other during the afternoon to win exclusive NSAC medals.
Wednesdays
A unique combination of athletics and fun games designed to thrill.

Our booking procedure is as follows:
* email as above to check availability, confirm days you wish your child to attend, and the cost
* upon confirmation of a place, sent by email, complete the sign-up form and arrange for payment by bank transfer
* if confirmation is not received within 7 days of being offered a place, it may be forfeited and allocated to someone else on a waiting list
* upon receipt of payment, a confirmation email will be sent to you, which will also include recommendations for clothing, food and drinks
As you might expect there are a few ‘rules’ to ensure everyone feels included and enjoys their day.
BEHAVIOUR
* NSAC is a high-quality option for your children during the holidays. Please ensure they arrive with a view to enjoying and getting stuck into the day’s activities.
* Continued poor behaviour towards coaches and/or other athletes will result in parents being asked to collect their child from the venue, and banned from future fun days.
* We reserve the right to refuse bookings for whatever reason, such as prior poor behaviour.
MEDICAL
Please ensure any medical issues are disclosed in full, both on the booking form and in more detail when registering for the day (as relevant).
MOBILE PHONES
Please ensure that, if athletes have mobile phones with them, they must stay in bags during the day – unless agreed with the Lead Coach prior to the day.
CANCELLATIONS AND TRANSFERS
Once a booking has been confirmed, cancellations cannot be made. We will, however, transfer bookings to a different date where spaces are available.
