Young Athlete sessions are geared towards children in School Years 4-8 and offer an introduction to athletics and opportunities to experience a range of track and field events.
NSAC has fine-tuned over many years an approach to Run, Jump and Throw as recommended by England Athletics for younger athletes.
As Chris Millard, Head Coach and founder of the club observes, these early years are critical to developing the underlying skills and good habits athletes will require to maximise their potential throughout their athletics journey.
The club currently offers 60-90 minute weekly training sessions at:
* Clevedon School on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday early evenings as well as Saturday mornings
* Nailsea School on Monday evenings
* Priory School/WSM on Wednesday evenings
