Recent Competition Results

South West Schools Combined Events @ Yeovil
Four NSAC Athletes won two bronze medals and shared 17 personal bests between them at the presitgous Combined Events competition.

In the Junior Girls pentathlon competition, Rosa F produced 4 personal bests, the pick being a first 5m+ long jump (5.08m), to win a bronze medal in the event. Rosa will be representing Avon at the English Schools event in July (Long Jump)

Ruby D produced possibly the performance of the day, adding 9cm to her high jump personal best, and narrowly missing the NSAC High Jump record set by GB International Ada’ora C. Ruby now ranks 8th in the UK, and finished an amazing 6th on the day with 4 personal bests of her own on the day. She will also represent Avon at the English Schools Championships

In the Junior Boys pentathlon competition, Conor H also won a bronze medal. His 800m run dragging him from 5th to 3rd, and one of 4 personal bests on the day

In the senior girls heptathlon, Phoebe G finished an impressive 7th, with 5 personal bests, and a long jump of 4.87m. 5m just around the corner for Phoebe

Another great day with NSAC taking on Team Avon, and East Wales Conglomerate teams at a cold and windy Yate Outdoor Sports Complex. A third place finish on the day, meaning NSAC remain second in the League was reward for the team’s efforts. Fourteen personal bests, and two NSAC Club records, both involving Jamie VDV. He beat his own 3000m record with 8;57.71 minutes, then linked with Will C, Ben H and Callum D to break the 4x400m record 3;53.07 minutes
