Bill Whistlecroft Spring Open @ Yeovil

A busy early weekend event at Yeovil with 32 North Somerset AC athletes competing. A total of 34 personal bests, and 2 club records the reward for the trip South.

Keira D destroyed her pb by almost 5 seconds, knocking a massive amount off the u17 women’s 800m NSAC record, set in 2010. Her time of 2:12.86 currently ranks her 5th in the UK (pictured)

George L smashed the 14m barrier with a throw of 14.48m in the U17 boys shot to continue pushing his own NSAC record skywards. This ranks him 3rd in the UK (pictured)

Martha H took nearly half a second off her 100m pb with a rapid 13.22 seconds in the u13 girls event. Whilst she is currently ranked 2nd in the UK, this is not an NSAC record! Welsh International and English Schools 5th placer Bethan W ran 13.1 in 2008. Surely this record is about to tumble…

A 4th UK ranking came from Chris Millard, returning to action for the first time in 3 years in the 100m. A time of 12.4 seconds currently ranks him 1st in the UK for the 55-year-old
