A fantastic indoor season was rounded off with the Easy Runner Athlete of the Month Award for the Portishead athlete. A full-page spread in Athletics Weekly confirms that she is on everyone’s radar and will be a big name in the sport in the next few years. Ada’ora has qualified for the World Youth Games in Columbia during July in the shot and high jump, and hopes to add the Combined Events to this also.
KEN TRICKEY OPEN MEET, EXETER (APRIL 2015)
A single NSAC athlete travelled to Exeter, and was met with strong headwinds. Sophie Parker competed in the 75m hurdles, winning the race but in a time of 12.49 seconds that was disappointing for her thanks to the -2.5 headwind. The long jump was also hampered by this and a jump of 3.96m enough for 7th place overall.
