SATURDAY JUNE 6TH 2015
The summer track and field season is under way, and plenty of positive performances have already been witnessed. NSAA and NSAC have organised the 10th annual t&f sportsday for everyone from NSAA/NSAC to get involved in.
Clevedon Secondary School – Grass track
£2.00 per competing Athlete only!
- 9.30am – 10.00am – Registration
- 10.15am – 12.30pm – Races (see attached sheet)
- 12.30pm – 12.45pm – Relays
- 12.45pm – 1.00pm – Medal ceremony
- 1.00pm – 1.15pm – World relay record attempt…
- 1.15pm – 1.30pm – 1k any way!
Athletes are allowed to compete in two of the three track events, and all of the field events (vortex, 2kg shot, standing long jump, speed bounce) as well as the relay, world record attempt and 1k any way!
Athletes will be placed into teams and will score points in every event toward their team totals.
Just turn up on the day, we will sort from there
Teas, coffees, cakes etc will be available, it is strongly recommended that a picnic is brought also to enjoy this event.
‘1K any way’
Athletes are encouraged to come up with imaginative ways to complete 1000m around the Athletics track (2.5 laps). Last time we did this there were pogo sticks, piggy backs, running backwards, cartwheels etc!
